Software Engineering

TactWare™ software engineers operate using certified Agile process methodologies including Scrum and Kanban to support the entire software engineering lifecycle from elicitation through deployment. Our engineers use the latest content management tools and continuous integration and deployment pipelines to maximize customer value and oversight.

We specialize in inter device tactical communication, mobile application development, embedded systems and microcomputing, data collection and analysis tools, artificial intelligence, geospatial mapping solutions, enterprise web applications, software verification and validation, rapid prototyping, GOTS and COTS technology adaptation, and much more. There isn’t a programming language or framework TactWare developers won’t learn to meet the goals of our customers.

Systems Integration

Today’s technology ecosystem is vast, diverse, and disjoint. TactWare™ is capable of aggregating, integrating, and designing systems-of-systems to meet any customer need. Starting with a systematic approach to modeling requirements, TactWare™ can empirically evaluate potential solutions to identify the best possible outcomes. Our expertise in hardware-software and software-software interoperability with a focus on military standard communication protocols makes us a perfect partner to take disparate systems and create something new for the Warfighter.

TactWare™ has helped create various hardware and software systems-of-systems, primarily focused on C-UAS and loitering munitions. Some of these systems include RADAR-based threat identification, handheld command and control applications, visual guidance, custom control communication protocols, and integrated weaponized defeat mechanisms.

Safety and Training

Our greatest asset is our users. That is why TactWare™ disciplines itself around safety engineering. We can perform quantitative and qualitative methods to ensure risk and hazard reduction and mitigation for software and hardware systems.

We also know technology is only as safe as a well-informed operator, which is why TactWare™ has taken a focus in designing and developing software applications that collect, annotate, present, and disseminate interactive training material to the Warfighter. In addition to presenting the material, we can collect, analyze, and develop training materials to suit any mission or platform.

Cloud Computing

Distributed computing has taken to the cloud, and so has TactWare™! Our certified engineers have experience in nearly every piece of the technology stacks offered by Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud. We implore the latest principles including scalability, virtualization, cybersecurity, containerization, terraforming, and production pipelines. TactWare™ can help support any SaaS, PaaS, CaaS, cloud migration, or cloud modernization. With our experience in enterprise cloud application modernization for various DoD customers, concerns about data classification and security can be put to ease.

Counter UAS Technologies

TactWare™ has over 20 years of system interoperability and integration experience with counter-unnamed aerial surveillance (c-UAS) technologies across all phases of the doctrine — detect, identity, track, and defeat. Members of our team have developed command and control systems and government owned integration specifications to facilitate the creation of holistic system-of-system solutions across multiple sensor suites, including EO/IR, radar, and acoustic detection systems.
